The 61st annual Grants Pass Rotary Track Meet will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2010. We hope to see you there for another great day!
Thank you to all who attended the 60th annual Grants Pass Rotary Invitational Track Meet. Held in cooperation with Grants Pass High School, this meet started as a small event with just a handful of teams. This year we had athletes from 43 schools entered from across Oregon and Northern California.
Even though the weather was windy with rain showers, it was a great day! It was exciting to see several records fall to the great group of athletes in attendance. Many of the athletes set new Personal Records for themselves.
The
Caleb Kruse from Marshfield High School was named the Outstanding Boys Athlete and Taylor Wallace from Henley High School was named Outstanding Girls Athlete.
Rotarians want to thank all the Athletes and Coaches that made this event such a great success. We also want to thank all of those who helped run the events and especially the Coaches and Staff (and their Spouses) from Grants Pass High School for their herculean efforts! Last, but not least, thank you to all of you who attended and cheered on the Athletes - your presence & enthusiasm inspired them to greater effort!
